Scholarship and academic achievement is extremely important to our chapter. The Director of Scholarship ensures that our chapter members (and new members) are aware of their scholastic responsibilities and the opportunities that exist for intellectual enrichment.

It is the Scholarship Director’s responsibility to implement programs throughout the year that encourages every sister to “do good” in their academics because that should always be every students main priority. Delta Gamma offers over $250,000 in scholarships and fellowships each year! Interest free loans are also available to qualified members. Scholastic excellence is rewarded in our chapters with individual recognition. Delta Gamma is proud of its members' academic achievements and strives to instill the value of lifelong learning in every member. Our average GPA is above the MSU's All Women's Average.

Delta Gamma Academic Requirements: Members should hold a scholastic average of a "C" (2.5 on a 4.0 scale). Delta Gamma takes pride in the scholastic achievements and have plans in place for members who need help. The Delta Omicron Chapter requires its members to participate in study hours according to certain GPA requirements.

Special Recognition for Achievement: Delta Gamma is always looking for new ways to reaffirm our commitment to exemplary scholarship. Since 1988, the Delta Gamma Foundation has underwritten a program that rewards undergraduate members who earn a 4.0 grade point average. These special students receive a gold Lamp of Knowledge dangle in recognition of their scholastic excellence.
